<sub>daisy was a restless girl
who hadn't slept since she was born

because inside her sleepy head
a strange disease took form

a dozen dizzy mini daisies
would burst out of her brain

a dozen daisies grew out of one
they'd scream and shout and rage

they bled and blahed, and kept her up
daisy thought she'd lost every mind

until one good night
when she shot all herselves
and shut every mouth and eye</sub>

I like how death and sleep are closely related, though I usually prefer the latter.

Grandma was taking a written driving test in chinese, and while waiting, I randomly thought that the idea of someone shooting themselves in the dark was particularly sad. Daisy grew from there!

Phil does a semi-Vincent Price impression here in semi-honour of Tim Burton, who is definitely an influence on at least some of the things I do!
